Governmental policy • FABLabs program (1st FABLab – MiSiS (04.2012)). 10 more supported by the Government and ANO Young Innovative Russia. • Skolkovo – as the first reason for innovations. • Opportunity for everyone to choose the destiny (R&D from last grades at school).
Implementing ideas • Office for innovators – my personal idea: • Guidance. • Real (not virtual) place to have meetings. • Self-education and same-year-old specialists expertise. Community. • Connection with FABLabs, Business-Incubators, Foundations, Companies. • 3 months participation enough to check the personal motivation.
Our experience • No-one is interested in innovations from R&D. Complete product. • No-one is interested in investments in R&D for 1-2 years (except governmental comp.) – Russia. • Particular areas for innovations for the whole country. • Lack of personal motivation to self-education. Young people.
Conclusions and Recommendations • Raise the talent from the “ground”. • Permanent governmental participation on initial stage. • Local communities with expertise. • Open innovations – next stage of globalization. • Time is the major resource. • Predefined time for project implementation.
