  5. Schedule • August 22: Both MGT 482 & 582 • August 27 – November 19: MGT 582 only on Tuesdays • August 29 – November 21: MGT 482 only on Thursdays • December 3 and 5: Both MGT 482 & 582 • = 15 lecture sessions for each section (3 combined, 12 separate)

  7. What you’ll do - Differences MGT 582 • Take-home midterm (30% of grade) • Write a term sheet for one of the business plans from MGT 482 (5% of grade) MGT 482 • 10 in-class quizzes at beginning of class (3% each) • Five homework assignments (1% each)

Learning philosophy • Lectures and readings should take place outside the classroom at your own pace (wiki) • Experiential learning should take place both in and outside the classroom • Classroom for applications and exercises using frameworks and tools you learn (what is bus-ed?) • Out-of-classroom for exposure to reality • What you learn is a responsibility you share with me
