What is IZIP • IZIP -Internet Access to Patient´s Medical Information Electronic Health Books: • Easy and available communications among surgeons • Containing objective medical information on the patient in question • Medical data are available around the clock (doctor will do with a mere PC • and Internet access) • Health Books are created based on the patient´s application This application signed by the patient means an informedconsent legally protecting the patient, medical establishments and surgeons.

Benefits of IZIP Project for patient • Changed patient´s role - from a passive object of being decided on to the subject with the decision making power and his/her own share of responsibility • Reducing the risk of unnecessarily carried out examinations, and/or operations • Reducing the risk of indicating unsuitable medicines • Increasing the change of saving human life (especially in the emergency medicine)

Benefits of IZIP Project for Surgeons and Medical Staff • Improved communications with patient • Immediate information on the medical care provided (case history, examination, hospitalization, medicines) • Immediate availabiility of all the results of the examinations • Improved communications among separate treating doctors and other providers of medical care • Fast, quality and cheap decisions

Benefits of IZIP Project for the health system • Acceleration of the diagnostic process and treatment • Prevention to provide unnecessary medical care (unnecessarily repeated examinations, unnecessarily prescribed medicines) • More effective utilization of funds allocated to the health industry designated for Medicare in the interest of an improved care of the health of the population

Access rights • Reading and viewing • Only the patient • Registering surgeon and other medical staff with the patient´s consent only • Entering records and including medical information • All the health providers incorporated within IZIP System • Always a clear identification of the recording person

Safety of data • Patient´s role – exclusive owner of the Health Book • Confirmed upon acceptance (signature with the presented ID Card) of the activation codes delivered for the personal attention of the client • Client has agreed that any member of the medical staff registered within IZIP may enter records in the Health Book • Personal identificators are put together separately from the patients´ medical data (downloading proceeds on different servers, and the interconnecting key is the client´s PIN) • Doctor´s role - entering records in the Health Book • by recording in the ZK he/she complies with his/her obligation to inform the patient • Evidence of the performed operation/action Safety of the data is similar to that existing in the bank sector, and the secured servers are under continuous surveillance. IZIP System is registered at the Office for Personal DataProtection

Foreign appraisal • IZIP was awarded the diploma e-Europe Awards for e-Health v Cork, Ireland • Interest in IZIP Project was manifested at the conference by the following institutions: • Belgian Ministry of Health • French insurance company („L´Assurance Maladie“) • Ministry for Health and Children, Ireland • Turkish Ministry of Health and Ministry of Informatics • IZIP began negotiations with regard to a connection to the European Health Clearing Centre. Already 15 EU countries has registered within this new institution.
