  1. AH’s food paper AH 12/9/02

  2. Early in the Project • A peanut butter and jelly sandwich with chips. I had this at lunch.

  3. A Question • How do they put chicken in a plastic box? I think they put chicken in plastic. First they take a little tray, then they put the chicken in it and then they put the plastic over it. So when they put it in the freezer the chicken can be frozen.

  4. Seeds • My seeds are growing in a paper towel.

  5. Grapes in a Bag • This is a bag of grapes.

  6. Beans • This is a beanstalk.

  7. Here is How I Answered My Question • There is a machine that puts plastic over a little tray.

  8. I Didn’t Know About • I learned that spores are a word that means mold.

  9. Food is Important • Food is important because it keeps you alive. It gives you vitamins.
