  3. Here are some examples of different chairs. Identify the parts of the chair and their purpose. Identify different materials used.

  4. Chairs used by African chiefs. • Why do you think these chairs are made from wood? • Some chairs will have motifs on then. A leopard represents power.

  5. Chairs used by Royalty. • How do these chairs differ from the chairs you use?

  6. Chairs used by us. • Where would you find these chairs?
