  3. Food Sources • Developing vs. Developed countries • i.e. China vs. United States • Processing of food results in food with far less nutritional value • Volume wasted per year

  4. Reducing Everyday Energy Use • Leaving electronics plugged into the wall • Misuse of heating and cooling • Running water, especially when heated • Amount of waste per year

  5. The Social Costs and Benefits • Unsustainable habits have become the norm in America • Removing a few luxuries would greatly improve the status of the diminishing environment • Conserving what we have left vs. Trying to fix what is already in trouble
