From February 2014 to March 2019, RILM has trained 47,123 teachers and benefited 7 million children in India. They have also felicitated 21,663 teachers with the Nation Builder Award NBA. RILM has installed 15,286 e-learning facilities and reached 87,870 adults through literacy projects. The Project Dignity initiative focuses on skill development for 30,000 women. Asha Kiran has enrolled and retained over 16,000 children in schools, with a focus on dropout, laggard, and never enrolled children.

Project Dignity for Skill Development Project Timeline: For 30,000 widows, Loomba Foundation will contribute $64600 in 5 years and Indian Rotary Club/District will contribute equal amount to TRF. All the work will be done through Global grants.

Outreach in terms of numbers WE AIM TO REACH OUT TO 1,00,000 OUT OF SCHOOLS CHILDREN We have so far - • Signed MoUs with NGOs for 43,617 children • Received 127 proposals from across the States, out of which 32 NGOs have been selected and MoUs signed • Reached out to 34,236 in the first phase of intervention • Received proposals from prospective NGOs to reach out the remaining number in next 1-2 years

What is unique in RILM • Involvement of Rotarians at all stages of project implementation • Real time data availability of sponsored Children thereby ensuring complete transparency of the intervention • Specific intervention in terms of identification and inclusion of real needy Children • Most unreached communities and inaccessible areas were reached • We reached out to communities like Bheels in Rajasthan, Nat in Uttar Pradesh, Korku in Madhya Pradesh, Santhals in Bihar, Odisha and West Bengal.
