  2. Mutualism… • Both species benefits • Clownfish and sea anemones: Clownfish and sea anemones present an example of mutualism. The clownfish benefits by having a protected home territory.

Commensalism….. • 1 species benefits and the other 1 is not affected • Barnacles adhering to the skin of a whale or shell of a mollusk: The barnacle benefits by finding a habitat where nutrients are available. The presence of barnacle populations does not appear to hamper or enhance the survival of the animals carrying them.

  4. Parasitism…. • 1 species benefit/the other is harmed.
