HVACR318 – Refrigeration II Subcooling and Superheat
Subcooling and Superheating • The concepts of subcooling and superheating are the two most important principles that the service technician must understand before attempting to troubleshoot HVAC/R systems.
Superheat • Superheat is any heat added to completely saturated vapor that results in a rise in temperature (sensible heat change) of the gas.
