Chinese Dragons • The Dragon is a symbol of power, strength, and good luck. • The dragon, especially yellow or golden dragons with five claws on each foot, was a symbol for the emperor in many Chinese dynasties. • The four-clawed dragon was typically for imperial nobility and certain high ranking officials. • The three clawed dragon was used by lower ranks and the general public (widely seen on various Chinese goods in Ming Dynasty).
