Analysis of IT Mechanism IT mechanism can be divided into TWO parts: (1) On-line data collection system • Secure web-based system • To collect relevant drug control information under 4 key areas • Use GIS and Data Mapping technology (2) Information Portal • Regional repository for all relevant regional drug control information • Searchable open source intelligence www.accordplan.net will serve as a “one-stop” location for the mechanism.
Functions of IT Mechanism • User-friendly data entry forms on the web • Only ACCORD countries and relating agencies can update their own data • Data entry through secure log in system • Data are able to display on the individual country maps at the different Administrative Levels
Outputs of IT Mechanism • Reliable regional drugs control information database • Early warning system • Analysis & reports • Multilateral information exchange

Current Development Status under AD Pillar • Initial data collection form for AD has already developed • Analysis on monitoring region-wide AD implementation under the ACCORD Plan of Action • Analysis on monitoring Thailand's AD implementation under the ACCORD Plan of Action
Support Facilities • Essential training will be provided • Essential hardware will be provided • Technical troubleshooting and support issues will be handled out by ACCORD Regional Cooperative Mechanism team.
