He then produced and directed documentary films independently. For four years, he co-managed his own audiovisual production company, We Are Here Films. He is now working on a new artistic project, Bofa de Cara, with an international group of European, Latin-American and African creators. From Equatorial Guinea, Ramón Escono, alias “Jamón y Queso” (Ham & Cheese), 1977, is an illustrator that combats the multiple assassins of our intelligences, fighting them with a double-edged blade: pencil and paper. With them, he creates characters and stories that reflect his critical vision of society.
