Problem • Students find it difficult to look for their stationeries when their pencil cases are packed with stationeries. • The noise made by students taking out their stationeries may also affect the quietness of the examination when finding stationeries • Students’ pencil cases are heavy and bulky, adding on unnecessary weight to their bags.
Our Solution • Design and create a rolled pencil case for students where the stationery is placed individually and slot into a pockets/compartments
Research • Though there are similar products in the market, we are still different from them. • Based on our research, we decided to have a variety of colours and a suitable number of compartments/pockets for the pencil case. • From our research, we decided to cover the outer layer of the pencil case with plastic, so that it would get wet.
Front view A total of 4 slots to place your pens or markers Compartment to put small stationeries like eraser, stapler bullet and others. Button to button up the pencil case. Pocket for putting correction tape. The outer layer is plastic. The inner layer uses cloth as the material .

How does our product work? • From the front view, you can see that there are 4 slots, each can place a maximum of 3 stationeries like pens, pencils or highlighter. • There is a compartment for the small stationeries like eraser, stapler bullets and other more. • There is a another slot for putting the correction tape. • From the back view, you can see that there are two pockets for putting different sizes of the rulers. • There is a slot for the stapler as it is usually big. • When folding the pencil case, the rulers’ slots will be facing outside as some rulers are unbendable. • Using plastic as the outer layer of the pencil case, prevent it from getting wet.
