Agency software • Few other points: • OhioLINK catalog will not automatically select an OPAL item if one OPAL library’s patron requests an item that is held by another OPAL library • That is, the OhioLINK catalog will not prefer sister-agencies’ materials over other any other OhioLINK institutions’

  15. OPAL Catalog changes • With Release 2006, Innovative releasing “WebPac Pro” which includes: • “improved” keyword search algorithm • “improved” single record display • optional spell-checking module • Not automatically functional with upgrade; must be turned on

OPAL Catalog changes • With the WebPac Pro implementation: • “Improved” keyword search algorithm • Results are grouped by relevance into: • Most Relevant • Highly Relevant • Very Relevant • Etc. • Higher relevance assigned if keywords appear in 245 subfield a, slightly lower if in subfield b, etc.
