Present Simple • We use the Present Simple for things which: • are always true, or are true for a long time. • He goes to work by bus. • are a habit. (They are true sometimes, always, usually etc…….) • I usually have dinner at 6 o’clock. • She sometimes drinks coffee.
Present Continuous • We use the Present Continuous for things which: • are happening NOW. • It’s raining today. • or in the near future. • I’m going home at 9o’clock.
