What Makes a Good Friend? • Good Traits • Happy • Silly • Caring • Bad Traits • Bully • Selfish • Mean
Trace Using Stencils -Each table will be given their own stencils to use. -Using your construction paper and the stencils given, trace the body parts of the ladybug. *Make as many spots as you want!!!!! *Use lighter color for body and spots of ladybug and darker color for the wings
Now cut out the Parts -Cut out ladybug body, wings, and spots.
Making Lines -Take the body of the ladybug and use a ruler to make dots at each inch going up and down. -Now using your dots as a guide, make straight lines across the body, like on a sheet of paper.
Glue Wings -Glue one wing on each side of the body. -Fold the edge of the wing and glue down to body.
Write traits on Spots -Then paste spots on wings.
Choose Your Favorite • Now write one or two sentences explaining your favorite trait. • I am a good friend because…
Decorate!! • Add a face to your ladybug and create whatever designs you would like to your friendship ladybug!
Clean Up Time! • Put stencils back into baggies and teacher will collect. • Put away all your materials and make sure your area is clean. DO NOT LEAVE AREA LIKE THIS!
