  1. Statics Examples Ex: A uniform, 20.0kg, 4.00m long board is sticking out horizontally from a vertical wall. The cable is attached 50.0cm from the end and makes a 30.0o angle with the board. A 250.N weight is on the board 1.00m from the wall. Find the tension in the cable and the reaction forces.

  2. Statics Examples Ex: A uniform, 500 lb, 20. ft long board is raised by a cable as shown. The cable is attached 4.0 ft from the end and makes a 90.0o angle with the board. The board makes a 35o angle with the ground. Find the tension in the cable and the reaction forces.
