  2. What is AcFee? • Portion of activities fees paid by students • Funds can only be used for the benefit of Vanderbilt students • Funds cannot be used to pay for events/items restricted to the organization (t-shirts, retreats etc.) • Allocated by the Student Finance Committee (aka AcFee)

Student Finance Committee Organizational Structure ACFEE COMMITTEE AcFee Chair 10 VSG Members and Students-at-Large DOS Staff ARTS 2 CO-CHAIRS (1 VSG Member 1 Student-at-Large) At least 4 Students-at-Large 1 Grad/Prof Student 1 Faculty and/or 1DOS Staff CULTURAL 2 CO-CHAIRS (1 VSG Member 1 Student-at-Large) At least 4 Students-at-Large 1 Grad/Prof Student 1 Faculty and/or 1DOS Staff PROGRAMMING 2 CO-CHAIRS (1 VSG Member 1 Student-at-Large) At least 4 Students-at-Large 1 Grad/Prof Student 1 Faculty and/or 1DOS Staff SERVICE 2 CO-CHAIRS (1 VSG Member 1 Student-at-Large) At least 4 Students-at-Large 1 Grad/Prof Student 1 Faculty and/or 1DOS Staff SPECIAL INTEREST 2 CO-CHAIRS (1 VSG Member 1 Student-at-Large) At least 4 Students-at-Large 1 Grad/Prof Student 1 Faculty and/or 1DOS Staff

  4. Allocation Process • Begins spring semester for funding for the following school year. • Applications are sent to organizations • Information Sessions & Office Hours • First Deadline February 22nd

  5. Allocation Process • Revisions of the first draft are sent to organizations before spring break • Final due date March 16th • Interviews scheduled • Be sure to bring future leaders • Allocation decisions are distributed

  6. Application Tips • The more information we have the better • We want to allocate funds as appropriately as possible, but the application is our window into your organization. • Concise, accurateand objective descriptions • If you have questions, JUST ASK US

  7. Completing The App • We’re Here For You! • Fill out all 8 sections of the application • Be sure pages’ final totals are appropriate • Save As • SubCommittee.OrgName.2012
