  5. Erastes/ eromenos • Erastes (lover): older, accomplished, social status, mentor. • Eromenos (loved one): exerts attraction and chooses a lover. • Greeks did not consider this a way of abuse, but a relationship that although asymmetrical was mutually beneficial.
