SHOW HONESTY • Always tell the truth • Do your own work on every assignment • Never cheat • Talk kindly about others; no spreading gossip!!
SHOW RESPECT • Use a kind voice and tone • Be careful with school and classmates’ property • Use words like: please, thank you, yes, no (yes maam, no sir) • Listen to others when they are talking without interrupting them • Don’t make fun of others; you just might make yourself look funny
SHOW RESPONSIBILITY • Be organized • Keep materials clean and neat • Check your PawPad before leaving school • Be prepared for class each day • Have assignments, books, sharpened pencils • Arrive to school on time • Be in homeroom at least 5 minutes before the tardy bell • Don’t make excuses • “I didn’t know!” “Nobody told me!” “They started it!” “My Mom/Dad didn’t put it in my bookbag!”
SHOW SELF CONTROL • Control your anger; think before speaking or acting • Use your best manners everywhere with everyone • Think about someone else’s feelings first • Bragging never wins friends
