Sort objects into categories according to their motion (straight, zigzag, round and round, back and forth, fast and slow, motionless). Assessment Activities • Show an assortment of objects to students and have them sort the objects by their motion. Examples of objects: • race car and turtle (fast/slow) • merry-go-round (round and round) • train (straight) • block (motionless) • snake (zigzag), etc.
