  5. SENTENCE FLUENCY • easy to read aloud • varied sentence lengths • varied sentence beginnings: now, nevertheless, however, furthermore, therefore, after, although, next, as a result, secondly, consequently...

  6. CONVENTIONS • looks clean, edited, polished • most things are correct • no biG, glaRing errors • easy to focus on ideas and not mistakes • easy to understand and follow
