Non-binary Gender Due to the sensitivity around a person's gender, Banner Position Control has relaxed the edit that requires a binary gender (male or female) when an employee is hired or when an employee changes their gender. Updated PPAIDEN to support the new Banner General fields ‘Gender Designation’ and ‘Personal Pronoun’ to reporting views. The new fields allow individuals to have a gender designation other than a male or female; and, for people to designate a personal pronoun that should be used in communication.
Direct Deposit Update The PHPDIRD process now uses all ten characters of the Origin ID and Destination ID fields from the GTVBANK table. Some banks require ten characters in this field on the ACH Direct Deposit file.
Electronic Consent Update • A new Allow electronic consent to terminated employees indicator was added that lets you give terminated employees the ability to electronically consent and receive tax documents. • The previous Latest Year-End field was changed to Latest Year-End Statement to Display W2 or T4 and lets you control the last year of W2 or T4 year-end statements to display in Banner.
