  1. S1 comic preparation You are going to create a page of a comic with your group. Each person will create a page of a comic. Your comic could have a theme and should have a front page.

  2. S1 - descriptions To be able to describe yourself in French To be able to describe someone else in French To be able to use adjectives and more unusual words to describe someone in French

  3. S1 comic preparation • I can check that my writing is accurate • Knowledge about language • Help from others • Notes • Help booklet • Dictionary • Success criteria • I am prepared to help others to check their work

S1 comic preparation You should say what your comic character is called say whether they are tall/ small say what colour eyes they have say what their hair is like say what their personality is like give any other information – scars/ tatoos/ clothes etc Use your jotter/ texts etc to help you !!

  5. S1 comic preparation Success criteria • How the page looks – colourful/ well laid out • The variety of information • Accuracy - spelling • Work makes sense eg. Don’t muddle ‘ilest’ • and ‘il a’ • Adjectives are well used ‘he is tall/ she is tall’ • Connectives - ‘et’ ‘avec’ • Interesting extra information eg. he has a big beard/ she has a blue tattoo. • Adjectives are in the right place

S1 comic preparation Procedure • Do a draft of what you are going to write in French in your jotter – use the Success Criteria • Plan how your page will look • Get someone in your group to assess your work (using the success criteria) as a check list • Do your final piece of work on poster paper
