Hajj Operation 2019

SpiceJet Ltd. will transport 9200 Hajj pilgrims on Boeing 737-800 aircraft with a passenger capacity of 160 and a baggage allowance of 45 kg. Daily 4 flights will operate between SXR and MED, and return between JED and SXR. Certain items are not allowed as baggage due to safety regulations.

  3. Passenger Load • 9200 Haji will travel with SpiceJet Ltd. • Will be operating Boeing 737-800 Aircraft. • 160 Passenger Capacity. • 45 Kg Baggage Allowance. • Daily 4 Flight ( SXR-MED ) and Return ( JED – SXR )

ITEMS UNACCEPTABLE AS BAGGAGE • Items which are likely to endanger the aircraft or persons or property on board the aircraft, such as those specified in the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) Technical Instructions for the Safe Transport of Dangerous Goods by Air and the International Air Transport Association (IATA) Dangerous Goods Regulations, and in SpiceJet’s regulations. • • Compressed gases (deeply refrigerated, flammable, non-flammable and poisonous), such as butane, oxygen, liquid nitrogen, aqualung cylinders and compressed gas cylinders such as camping gas. • • Corrosives such as acids, alkalis, mercury and wet cell batteries and apparatus containing mercury. • • Explosives, munitions, fireworks and flares, blank cartridges, pistols or any other weapons and pistol caps.

ITEMS UNACCEPTABLE AS BAGGAGE • • Flammable liquids and solids such as lighter refills, lighter fuel, matches, paints, thinners, fire-lighters, lighters that need inverting before ignition, substances liable to spontaneous combustion, substances which emit flammable gases on contact with water. • • Radioactive materials • • Briefcases and attaché cases with installed alarm or pyrotechnic devices. • • Oxidizing materials such as bleaching powder and peroxides. • • Poisons and infectious substances such as insecticides, weed-killers and live virus materials. • • Other dangerous articles such as magnetized materials, offensive or irritating materials
