MEVille to Weville • MEville to Weville is a researched-based curriculum package that focuses on developing reading, writing, and communication skillsfor students in the severe to moderate range of disabilities. • There are 3 Units in MEville to WeVille. • Participants received Unit 1, “Me” for this training • Each unit contains 75 lessons and 60 extension activities.

  5. MEVille to Weville Assistive Technology • Technology tools used to support the four blocks are imbedded into the ME to We curriculum-turn to page 100 in your curriculum book • Today you may make 2 alternate pencils, a word wall activity, and an All Turn IT Spinner

  6. The ALL TURN IT SPINNER • Make IT! • Let’s make a low tech ALL TURN IT SPINNER!

  7. How are you teaching reading now? • Yellow: Current/Change of practice plan • Lavender: We’ll do a new plan at the end of the day

  8. What are we really doing? • MEVille to Weville is just ONE curriculum you might use to teach reading to students with disabilities • It is designed for students with severe disabilities, that require robust assistive technology • ME2We supports the FOUR BLOCKS Model of Literacy . . .
