Lomonosov Today NArFU includes following institutions: • Institute of Civil Engineering and Architecture • Forestry Engineering Institute • Institute of Theoretical and Applied Chemistry • Institute of Oil and Gas • Institute of Economics • Institute of Information and Space Technologies • Institute of Energy and Transport • … (more then 18 educational bodies) The list of institutes will be expanded with the joining of other educational institutions
International cooperation of NArFU • Today NArFU develops partnership with many universities around the world. Arctic Focus of NArFU determines close ties with universities in Norway, Finland, Sweden, Canada and the USA. Today students from Latin America, Africa, Asia, CIS and Baltic countries go into higher education at the Northern (Arctic) Federal University.
Directions and tasks of the CTT&CD These direction are close tied to Development program of NArFU (p.2.2. - Create a modern infrastructure for commercialization of scientific researches and technologies)
First projects of CTT&CD • The design of the program for development of clusters in the Arkhangelsk region to accelerate the innovation and competitiveness of the economy of the region. • The role of creative industries in the innovative development and economic growth in the region • Development and implementation of the project «Innovation Academy» - Teaching innovation entrepreneurship and project management of innovations • Development of technological incubator
Project of development the innovation shipbuilding Cluster • New call of the Ministry of Economic Development of the Russian Federation • Main goals: • Innovations • Economic development in the region • Human capital development • Clusterisation of the participants • Will be support 10 cluster projects • Funding – 500 mln rubles (12,5 mln €) per year • Core activities for Severodvinsk cluster – shipbuilding • NArFU is one of the key players in the project
