Satori Address Cleansing • Satori is the standard address cleansing software for US addresses in Circulation 2014 • Postalsoft ACE will be retired by SAP in March 2015 • Unlike ACE, Satori does not require software to be installed or updated locally • The address is set to the Satori ZIP Cleanse web service, along with a valid registration key • The address is then returned as cleansed or not cleansed • Satori manages all updates of software and directories • Satori is used wherever addresses are cleansed in the Circulation system • Sites that have licensed ACE will automatically be covered for Satori licensing

Satori Address Cleansing • Business Rules • The Business Rule “What system do you use for Address Correction and Encoding software?” has a new answer, “Satori” • A new Business Rule has been added “If using Satori, what is your registration key for single address cleansing?” • If using ACE, how would you like unit designators standardized? has been changed to For US addresses, how would you like unit designators standardized? • If using ACE, would you like invalid US city place names retained? has been changed to For US addresses, would you like invalid US city place names retained? • If using ACE, would you like non-preferred US city names retained? has been changed to For US addresses, would you like non-preferred US city names retained? • If using ACE, should the DPV NO STATS directory be used? has been changed to For US addresses, should the DPV NO STATS directory be used? • Satori offers only two types of city names: USPS preferred city names and non-mailing city names. If either the invalid US city place name or non-preferred US city name Business Rule above is answered “Yes”, Satori will preserve the non-mailing city name
