The Reaching Jaywick team… Working with and for the people of Jaywick to: Support community activities in Jaywick Improve enjoyment of open spaces including Jaywick beach Providing creative opportunities to gain skills and learning Developing a community led improvement plan
Building relationships • A warm thank you for your support and welcome • We have spent the year meeting, listening and understanding • Getting to know the community • 23 local community groups/agencies • 150 meetings • Responding to your constructive feedback, together we have changed our programme of work
Celebrating our successes We have supported: • Jaywick Summer Fayre • Tea dances • Jaywick Martello Tower events • Christmas Pantomime at Jaywick Community Resource Centre

Celebrating our successes: NVCC National Voice for Coastal Communities CoastNet have supported Jaywick’s membership to the NVCC and All-Party Paliamentary Group for Coastal and Marine Issues
Community-led plan of action • Lots of talk about community-led regeneration… … this requires a plan of action • We have a commitment within our project to produce one for you • Over the last year we have been listening to your ideas, whilst reviewing past and present projects • We are ready now to put together a draft-plan for you to review and revise and we would like to invite you to an event to do this TUESDAY 26th JULY 2011 12.30pm – 3.30pm including lunch Jaywick Community Resource Centre
