IT PTW Sales Evolution Source: ANCMA(Associazione Nazionale Ciclo Motociclo Accessori ) • Over the years, 126-250cc has lost market share while >250cc is gaining market share. • > 750 cc is also a growing market, even though it is recovering from a great slump in 2009.
Italian Market in 2010 Source: Associazione Nazionale Ciclo Motociclo Accessori (ANCMA) • Total registrations have dropped 22% according to the ANCMA data. • Sales have decreased in all market, but the drop is especially strong for the scooter market : -27,7%.

Scooter sales have decreased by 9% whereas the motorcycle sales have decreased by 16% yoy . • The biggest-selling manufacturer in 2010 was Yamaha with 13967 registrations, followed by Honda(13412) and Suzuki (7656). • +50 cc sales have decreased by 14,3% and 50cc sales have decreased by 12,4%. • The UK is the 5th biggest european market for PTW sales.
