  27. Police: Juveniles laughed after setting 15-year-old on fire1October 2009 Five juveniles were in custody Tuesday after a 15-year-old was intentionally set on fire. The boy suffered second-degree burns over 80 percent of his body. "He's in for a long, long recovery," the Sheriff said. Three juveniles were arrested Monday night, hours after the incident, and two others were arrested Tuesday, "A couple of them last night were laughing about it." Apparently the victim owed the suspects $40 for a video game and had not paid it. So the suspect allegedly stole the victim's father's bicycle. The victim reported the bicycle stolen, the suspect was arrested, taken to a detention center and released. Later the suspect and two other people approached the victim at his apartment complex. The suspect yelled, "He's a snitch, and "pour it on him." Another juvenile threw what police believe was rubbing alcohol on the victim from a plastic jug and used a lighter to set him on fire, a resident used a fire extinguisher to put out the flames, and the boy jumped into the complex's swimming pool. The boy is expected to be hospitalized for 5 months.

  28. 10-year-olds attack, beat homeless man"2 March 29, 2007 Egged on by a 17-year-old, two 10-year-old boys joined in the attack of a Florida homeless man, leaving him bruised and bloody, police said. The teen and two boys were walking in their neighborhood around 9 p.m. when they saw a 58-year-old man. They began throwing rocks at the homeless man. The 17-year-old, punched the homeless man, who then fell over a concrete wall. As he lay on the ground, one of the 10-year-olds -- whose names are not being released -- used parts of the concrete to bash the man in the head, a police report shows. The man's eye was severely damaged in the attack. The three boys were charged with felony aggravated battery and are being held without bond at a juvenile detention center.

  29. Three teenagers admit to shooting at least 50 cats in Oregon3June 06, 2011 Three Washington teenagers arrested on suspicion of shooting a cat Sunday night told police they've shot at least 50 felines in recent months. A Police officer was investigating the drive-by shooting of a cat when he spotted the boys in a blue Ford Explorer that matched a suspect description. When he pulled the sport utility vehicle over, he saw shell casings and found a pair of .22-caliber rifles, one of them loaded, and hundreds of rounds of ammunition, according to a news release.
