Collective action is needed along three priorities • Help children get an early start on learning in life • Ensure basic literacy and numeracy are learned in lower primary • Equip young people with relevant livelihoods and life skills
1. Building shared research agenda • Facilitate development of a shared research agenda on learning
2. Convening Global Learning Metrics Task Force Debate and consensus building around measuring learning
3. Improving collaboration • Informal group of public and private donors taking collective action to advance learning
4. Increasing attention & resources • UN Secretary General’s Education Initiative • Heads of Governments • Advocacy Organizations • Global Business Coalition for Education
