  2. Generally, floor coatings are used for giving a protective layer on the concrete surface. It applies to the warehouses, industries, and buildings where heavy loads are fallen. Others use it in their living place for taking various facilities or maintain traffic on their particular surface. It enhances the protection of different surfaces. It is also used for repairing or fixing or renovation of the remain concrete floor. Some floor coatings are easy to wash and dust and water-proof. Some are odor-free, non-toxic, and durable for the concrete floor.

  3. The most popular floor coating is Epoxy coating, and it is suited to all types of concrete as well as metal surface. Generally, epoxy is a resin which uses to cover the existing floor. Its plastic-type coating makes the surface harder, glossy and shining. It can repair the old surface and create a new one. Before using it, the floor must be well washed. There are two types of epoxy applying methods. This coating can be used in indoor as well as outdoor. It is anti-thermal, water-proof, and hygienic coating. It doesn’t emit toxic elements so; it is entirely eco-friendly. It enhances the beauty of the house and the garage.

  4. Some hybrid coatings, such as Polyurethane is another option for floor coating. Usually, two types of polyurethane one is thermosetting, and another is thermoplastic. The sports playground is suitable for this coating. Even swimming pools, dance halls, gymnasium, and athletic tracks are suited to this coating. It is water-proof, anti-dusting, and non-slippery. It is also easily replaceable and anti-penetration.

For its reflection of heat, it can be used in every type of roof, outdoor walls, and in the massive temperature areas. It has some specialized character that makes water resistance, non-slippery, and low electric resistance. Generally, on the big cold storage or warehouse would use this coating.
