Conclusions • The Attenuation efficiency for several laminates of CFRP with wolfram layer was measured • The validation of the Monte Carlo – GEANT4 model was successfully carried out. • The Basis for future simulations was set up in the Computer Cluster at Kumpula • The GEANT4 simulated proton transmission for the CFRP with wolfram layer and Aluminium both with the same areal mass indicates that saving mass could be achieved 05-Nov-06 GEANT4 Space and Spenvis Users’ Worshop 2006 – Session II F.
