The Katrina Experience at Forrest General (59 nine miles due north of Gulfport, Mississippi) • Maximum wind gusts – 120+ MPH • Sustained winds – 110 MPH • 9 inches of rain in 36 hour period • Power outage – 101 hours (4 days, 5 hours) • Water outage – 111 hours (4 days, 13 hours) • 2 internal 750kw generators failures • Damages total approximately 14 million dollars • (PLAY) 10.52 MINUTE DVD

Well Bid Opening – 4/14/06 • Start well drilling – 5/01/06 • Test drill → Test well → Water analysis • Well water to Hospital – 10/1/06
Water Storage Tank • Started Construction of Water Tank – 10/15/06 • Completion of Water Tank (8 mo) – 5/15/07
Backup Water Plan • Agreements signed for bottled / bulk water • Mutual Aid Agreement with local Fire Departments for water transport for chillers and steam
