Teaching and Learning Technology Roundtable • Based on model by Teaching, Learning and Technology Group – 600+ institutions participate • Affiliate of American Association of Higher Education (AAHE) • Brings together people who usually do not collaborate on educational improvement • Provides forum for issues about educational technology

  4. Goals of TLTR at OHSUThrough regular meetings and actions, the TLTR will: • Help OHSU make better-informed decisions about educational technology • Become an agent for collaborative change • Develop better strategies for using technology to improve teaching and learning

  5. Web Lectures, Seminars and MeetingsWhat is the OHSU platform? • Adobe Acrobat Connect, formerly Breeze • 130 simultaneous users in 4 “rooms” • Two 50-seat seminar rooms • Two 15-seat meeting rooms • Pilot phase through December 2007 • Researching and developing best practices
