  2. About Me! • Originally from Minnesota • Moved to Texas 19 years ago • This is my 12th year at McMath

  3. My desk area is off limits! If you need something from my desk area- ask don’t take! (Stapler or 3hole punch)

  4. Bring a note! • Whenever you are absent from school, upon your return you must bring a note to give to Mrs. Frank at the attendance window before school! Mrs. Frank

  5. Make up work is your responsibility! Pink calendar has all assignments missed. You can also check my webpage!

  6. Fill in restroom log

  7. Math class expectations • Pay attention in class • “Give me 5!” • Ask good questions • Take good notes • Do homework on time • Prepare for tests/quizzes

  8. Grading • Grading will be referenced to the standards. • TEKS • Opportunity to re-submit or re-test for a higher grade. • Not an excuse to not do homework or study for tests!

  9. Stuff good to know • Keep to the right in the hallway • Walk- don’t run. (You can walk quickly!) • Rulers, glue sticks, and scissors are in tubs at back of room • Respect the rulers, they are not toys! (drumming them will break them)

  10. Wear your ID at all times except PE! • If you don’t have your ID, you will need to get a sticker from the front office • The sticker will result in a lunch detention • Sticker will set you back 25 cents!

  11. Tardy • If you are tardy, you will be given warnings for the first two per semester. I record it in the gradebook. I call home on 3rd tardy You will have a grace period before we enforce tardies!  Office referral on 4th tardy!

  12. Special passes • Yellow get out of class pass • Turn in note before school for appointments! • Sign out at time to leave at attendance window. • Blue admit to class pass Sign in and attendance clerk will give you a blue pass to give to the teacher

  13. Office Staff • If you need to use phone • If you need to pick up something dropped off by parents Katie Haught Receptionist

  15. Math Binder set up • Notes • Graded Homework • Graded test/quiz • Vocabulary

  16. Always give your all! Don’t ask “ Is this good enough?” Don’t ask “ I was gone, did I miss anything?”
