I like this career field because I always wanted to solve crimes. My father was a crime investigator and I want to be jus like him. I took classes after school that my dad signed me up for.
A criminal investigator is a law enforcement professional who attempts to solve crimes. A criminal investigator may specialize in analyzing evidence and information from a crime scene, conducting interviews and searches, or performing surveillance. Military experience is usually high valued by government agencies hiring federal criminal investigators.
You don’t need any special degrees. Anything like philosophy or hard science or and hard science that teaches and helps you to develop your critical thinking skills is good. No police department or anyone else that does criminal investigation cares about the degrees all they need to know is that you had some teachings on critical thinking skills. But you have to have a high school diploma or technical certificate or you can have a degree going into that field. I would make it look even better and you’ll probably get more pay
In class we learn a lot of thing in the world of science. Science is the most important field in the world. If it wasn’t for science we would be lost like an abandon dog. DNA was used in class and if I didn’t have take a science class I wouldn’t know anything I know now CGAT
