  2. Quick reminder of the problem • Use a diagram of the scenario from the panel presentation • Keep this short, as if you were continuing the last presentation

  3. Describe your solution to the problem • What aspects will you be focusing on? • Which will you be leaving aside for now? • Try to use a diagram or picture or both • How does it address the problem? • Why is it better than what we have today?

  4. Basic components • Describe the main components of your solution and how they relate • Run us through an example based on the scenario • For each component, make sure to describe what it is composed of and who would be the primary user of it • Use multiple slides for this, starting with an overview slides and then a slide for each individual component

  5. What are your main technical issues? • What aspects of your project require more investigation or trying something out? • How do you plan on figure out your unknowns? • This could be issues with hardware, software, business models, etc.

  6. Evaluation plan • How will you know your solution is reasonable? • What will you be able to compare it to? Other technology solutions? Current practice? • What tests/measurements/trials are needed? • What would you want to know from potential users? • This is very important part of the presentation – give it the attention it deserves
