  2. Reminders: • $20 dues – give to Ms. Blessing or Ms. Yacoub w/ your name • EMAIL US!! tuscaroranhs@gmail.com • Track your hours using online survey • Tutoring for other national honor societies counts as NHS hours…..doing other clubs’ service activities does NOT count as NHS hours

  4. Tutoring • Need tutors for 1-on-1 sessions (not SLED) • Text Ms. Yacoub (703) 999-6853 with: • Your name • Availability • Subjects • Email address • She will set up the 1st meeting w/ student, after that you arrange it with student

  5. Salvation Army Bell ringing • Tuesday, December 24 (ends at 4) • Shifts: 10-12, 12-2(+1), 2-4 (+1) • Hobby Lobby • Sign up via Google Doc to look at available spaces (sent via email to all)

  6. Food Drive (all next week) • 3 cans/ hour (max 2 hours or 6 cans) • Drop off cans in Science Hallway w/name on them • 2 volunteers for each day next week to collect cans from 8:20-8:50 (1/2 hour of service) • Check in w/ Ms. Blessing in 507 • Sign up at stage at end of meeting

  7. Have ideas for service projects?? • Fill out the project approval form under the Service Opportunities section on the website • Present to sponsors • You can be the chair & earn hours as well as serve our chapter!

  8. Some ideas… • Parent’s Night Out • Exam Care Packages • Wounded Warriors • …anything you want, really! We’re open to ideas!

  9. T-shirt distribution • Lines at front of stage • Only those that gave a t-shirt size AND paid dues • Officers will check your name off the list • Wear your shirts at service projects or just for school spirit • Those that want to switch sizes or need to pay dues--- you can get your shirt by talking to Ms. Blessing or Ms. YacoubLATER

  10. Next meeting • Thursday, January 30th • @ 8:00 a.m. in the Auditorium! AGENDA TOPICS: Newly ratified Constitution, membership cards, service projects for next semester
