  3. Elder abuse is a serious problem in our country and yet it is often under-reported. • Public neglect of elder people maltreatment • Mass-media using this type of news for publicity

  4. People, especially the young ones forget that, once, the elder generations worked hard to make a better world for us.

  5. Causes A lot of people make fun and maltreat old people because of: - different ideas or looks - abuse, neglect or trauma in childhood - lack of education
