Presentation Objectives: • Students will bring required items to interview. These items include, resume, cover letter, and reference sheet. All three items will be presented to interviewer. • Using a handshake the student/interviewee will introduce himself/herself. Students will firmly shake interviewer’s hand within 3 minutes of meeting the interviewer. • After asked a question by the interviewer, students will answer all questions asked by interviewer. Answers should contain an explanation to questions, and example when possible. • After all questions have been asked by the interviewer, students will ask interviewee questions relevant to the job position. At least one question should be asked by the interviewee, not pertaining to salary or benefits. • At the end of the interview, the interviewee should thank the interviewer for his/her time. The gesture of gratitude should be expressed by utilizing a firm handshake and a smile.
Plan Ahead Do Your Homework • Research the Company • Mock interview with someone before actually attending the interview • Get plenty of sleep the night before • Take extra copies of your resume

Leaving On a Positive Note Do You Want to Be Remembered? • Thank the Interviewer for his/her time • Again, offer a firm handshake • Let the interviewer know that you will follow up with a written letter or an e-mail
