Exegesis & LectioDivina: Reading the Bible with Intelligence & Personal Meaning
Description: The Bible is God’s Word to us, and so we want to learn to read it with deep, personal meaning. In order to do that, we ultimately need open hearts and minds, but we also need intelligence and understanding, so that we interpret properly what God is speaking to us. In this final project, we will explore how to practice exegesis, or critical, interpretive reading of the Scriptures, and to find it’s deepest personal meaning, through lectiodivina.
