Other training suggestions • New Horizons will come on site (for $) with 5060 and 5061, which is geared to certification prep. • MS also has eLearning: http://www.microsoft.com/sharepoint/ learning/e-learning.mspx • If interested in Certification Prep, many members prefer MeasureUp over Transcender. They all suggest using this AFTER you study just to get a feel for the test. • SheltonBlog.com has some good training videos online.

  9. Pain points for members: • Security • Setting internal security at a high level in a site; but giving external users rights to See the high level but only items they have rights to. <need to define the ‘items’ as item level security may be different on different items. • Moving a custom list to another ?site? • Try exporting to excel then import to other site • Fast, but dropdown and ‘choice’ boxes are lost • OR Save as a template to use on other site • Takes longer but dropdown and ‘choice boxes are maintained. • Custom List using XSLT view link breaks • Need to reference by Name rather than GUID
