MDL Commercial Versions • MDL is available in three versions: • MDL/Parasolid - for the import of: • Parasolid • SolidWorks part models • IGES and • STEP • MDL/Pro/ENGINEER - for the import of: • Pro/ENGINEER part models • IGES • STEP • MDL/CATIA V5 - for the import of native: • CATIA V5 part models

  6. MDL Options for MPI Users • Import geometry in the form of solid surfaces (or) • Create an analysis-ready mesh directly from the imported solid model
