We hope all of our Year 6 parents, families and friends will able to join us in celebrating their life at primary school. There are still a nigh number of children being picked up from outside the school gate at the end of the school day. It is very important that all children are picked up from the school playground, where the class teacher can clearly see the child has been picked up. Children will not be allowed out of the playground until their adult has picked them up from their teacher. 01254 54851 Summer Holidays Your child will have received confirmation letters if they have signed up for any Children’s University activities during the summer holidays. Please ensure the consent form attached to the letter is completed and returned to school before the end of term. Failure to do this will mean your child will not be able to participate in the activity. There are limited places left on activities if you would like your child to sign up for any. Please do this as soon as possible. Confirmation letters have also been given out for the family trip to Gulliver’s World. Please check this and return the slip stating the names and numbers of the people on it are correct. If you have not received confirmation letters for either of the above, please contact Sara Casey on 07805929965 as soon as possible. Art Activity at the Museum Please do not forget to sign up for this activity which is for children in year 3 to 5 over the summer holidays. If you would like more information, please ring Sara Casey on 07805929965. Those who have already signed up for this will receive a confirmation letter before the end of term. Summer Reading Challenge at Blackburn Library Do not forget that over the summer holidays your child can sign up for the summer reading challenge. To sign up, please pop down to Blackburn Library. Those who have registered to collect extra hours for Children’s University will be sent the booklet to complete when doing this.
