  3. Vocabulary Level E • 20 words each unit • 40 question test- multiple choice • HSPA Prep • SAT Prep • Research paper (3rd-4th marking period) • Will count for History as well (in presentation form)

  4. Assignment Values • Around 10 pages of reading a night • Reading quizzes: 10-20 points • Unit tests: 100-200 points • Home/classwork: 5+ points (varies greatly)

  5. Study Guides • Collected at end of book • Students are HIGHLY encouraged to do them AS THEY READ!

  6. Extra Credit • Announced when available & posted in room • Poetry/Writing contests • Attending specified plays & writing reviews • Maximum 30+ points each marking period

  7. Extra Help • Me! 2:30-3:00/3:30 everyday • National Honors Society (later in the year)

  8. 9 Week Assessments • MP 1- HSPA-STYLE • MP 2- MIDTERM • MP 3- HSPA-STYLE • MP 4- FINAL
