Policy Implementation Dates • Quality Assessment and Performance Improvement Requirement (QAPI) • OPTN Bylaws Appendices B (Membership Requirements for Organ Procurement Organizations) and D (Membership Requirements for Transplant Hospitals and Transplant Programs) • Requires all OPOs and transplant hospitals to develop and implement a QAPI program • Effective September 1, 2015

MPSC Committee Projects • Post-transplant performance review of multi-organ transplants • Focusing on SLK transplants most frequent multi-organ transplant • Suggest initially reviewing SLK outcomes separately from single organ transplants • Considering SLK outcome pilot review prior to proposing formal changes • Working with SRTR to develop models for SLK transplants
