What is a 4-H Project Expo? • Educational Table Top Display • Topic related to a 4-H Project -- youth is currently enrolled • Posters & Examples – to illustrate • Display fits on a card table 36” or less • No live animals • 4-H Dress Code • Be prepared to answer questions from the judges.
Checklist forCreating Your Project Expo Display • Simple and Uncluttered • Visual Sequence • Symbols, Graphics, Words • Strong Center of Interest (one main idea) • Readable Lettering • Make Good Use of Color • Neat & Clean
The Interview ● Be prepared to answer questions from the judges and public. ● This is not a science fair exhibit so do not prepare a five-minute presentation. ● Questions could include: - steps in preparing display item - reasons you chose this topic - what you learned - any specific things you would like to share
