  4. The Savior can give us what the world cannot give or take away. He alone is our rest, our joy, and our lasting satisfaction.

  5. Don‘t live in the present without regard for the future. Commit yourself to serving God TODAY and FOREVER

  6. The change in Jerusalem’s heart shows that God’s discipline was accomplishing one of its intended purposes: Namely, to bring His people to the place of repentance and dependence on Him.

  7. Discipline by the Father hurts, but His purpose is to heal. • Surgery is painful but the end result is good.
